House & Home

Labassa, Textures, Tiles & Friezes

The beautiful gem, ‘Labassa’ stands proudly in Caulfield Melbourne. Its history is rich and full …. many have called this grand lady home.  Fortunately Labassa has been spared from the wrecking ball and now in the care of the National Trust, its walls speak to inquisitive visitors. The joy is in the detail ….. room by room there are wall panels, paper friezes, textures, tiles and more that have known grander days but today are still a visual treat.
