A quick way to impress your guests!
Recently my friend Une came for morning tea …. we haven’t caught up for such a long time so I needed something quick and easy to prepare so that we could spend all of our time chatting!
Start with 1 sheet of puff pastry .. thawed
Cut into 9 squares …. don’t worry about exactness …. and place on baking sheet
Add sliced ‘granny smith’ apple … 1 large or 2 small will do ( or use another apple variety ) I like to add some blueberries or in this case dried cranberries for colour … a sprinkle of cinnamon and brown sugar or a drizzle of honey
Voila! …15- 20 mins in a hot oven ( 170 degrees ) and they are done
Onto a wire cooling rack and serve with a dollop of cream or yogurt and a dusting of icing sugar …..YUM!
Looks SOOOOOO delicious – immediately onto the menu – more of same ,please !!!
